POLICY

Content Policy

Last updated:

Version 1.0, effective November 1, 2026. This is the acceptable use policy for AI Photo Editor. It applies to everything you submit and everything the service generates, and it is part of the Terms of Service.

1. Scope

The policy covers what you submit (your photos, the instructions you type and the options you choose), what we generate (edited or newly generated images), and anything you send us in a report or support request.

2. What is not allowed

You may not submit or generate:

  1. Pornography and sexual content, including nudity, sexualized content and non-consensual intimate content. This is a hard rule, not a restricted category.
  2. Violence and gore, threats and encouragement of physical harm.
  3. Hate speech and targeted harassment.
  4. Content unsafe for children, including any sexual content involving minors. Do not submit content showing children or anyone under 18.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation of real people.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement, including unauthorized music, footage, characters and brands.

2.1 Zero tolerance

We do not allow face swapping, making a person appear to wear nothing or to be sexualized, placing two real people in an intimate scene, or making a person appear to say or do something in order to deceive. This applies whether or not the person agreed.

2.2 Real people

Submit only content that shows yourself, or an adult who has clearly agreed. You confirm this each time you start a image. Content showing celebrities, politicians and other public figures is not allowed without their permission, and neither is content showing people who have not agreed. Having the person's agreement does not make a prohibited use allowed.

2.3 Other misuse

Do not pass AI output off as a real recording, impersonate a person, brand or institution, bypass or try to trick a safety check, or abuse the service.

3. How we check content

  • The instruction you type is checked automatically before any image is made; a request that breaks the Content Policy is refused and costs no credits.
  • Every photo you upload is checked automatically before it can be used, and a photo that fails is deleted straight away.
  • Every result is checked automatically before it is kept and shown; a result that fails the check is not shown.
  • Provider systems: our AI providers apply their own safety systems, and a request can be refused by them.
  • People: reports and the decisions flagged by automated checks are reviewed by a person. We keep the results of automated checks and of human reviews for 3 years so that we can explain a decision.
  • No public gallery: results are delivered only to the account that made them, and we do not publish them.

4. Reporting a problem

Report anything you think breaks this policy, or any content showing you that was used without your agreement. Say which image or link it concerns and what is wrong. We treat reports confidentially, review them fairly, and take no action against you for a report made in good faith. We may act against reports that are knowingly false.

5. Where to report

Write to support@ai-photo-editor.net, or open a ticket on our support page. These channels are read by a person on business days.

6. How fast we respond

LevelExamplesFirst responseResolution target
L1 CriticalSexual content involving minors, credible threatsWithin 24 hoursImmediate suspension, then within 3 business days
L2 HighSexual content, face swapping, intimate composites, impersonationWithin 24 hoursWithin 3 business days
L3 MediumViolence, hate speech, content showing people who did not agreeWithin 2 business daysWithin 5 business days
L4 LowCopyright questions, other policy questionsWithin 3 business daysWithin 10 business days

7. What we do about violations

Depending on how serious and how repeated a violation is, we may reject a request, withhold or delete a result, warn you, limit what you can do, suspend your account for a time, or close it permanently and forfeit its remaining credits. Child sexual abuse material and credible threats lead to immediate closure, and we report them to the authorities, including the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as the law requires. We keep a record of each action.

8. Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, write to support@ai-photo-editor.net with the image or account reference and your reasons. We review the decision again on the original evidence and on anything new you send, and where a different person is available, that person decides. We answer within 10 business days. If we were wrong, we restore access and, where it applies, the credits.

9. Changes and transparency

We update this policy when the service or the risks change and post the date at the top. We give at least 14 days notice of material changes. We publish a summary of enforcement figures on request.
